I installed the mopar aux switches, but the dealer won’t scan my system to make the work. Which scanner should I buy to do this? I don’t know anything about scanners and I have a Mac computer. Thanks.

you can enable them with the Tazer Mini
i would guess you probably can also do it with the JScan app but i'm not sure.

If possible, I'd find a new dealer. They're punishing you for not giving them the privilege of charging you to put the switches in.

Any aftermarket shop that has the appropriate scanner that could do it for you?

They should feel lucky that you were willing to pay them to activate the switches… find another dealer

Tazer Mini is the most straight forward option. Aside form updating the firmware on the Tazer, you do not need a computer to run the Tazer Mini out of the box.

Good Luck

I'll go against the trend and say go JSCAN. I have both, i prefer JSCAN for 2 reasons:
1) Its permanent and doesnt get lost like it does with tazer if you unmarry it
2) The phone interface is just easier

Downside to JSCAN is you need to buy the cables and the bluetooth adapter seperately, but even with that its just so much cheaper that its a no brainer.

JSCAN here as well. It is also great for diagnostics, and many other things.
It's a no-hassle way to make simple changes to settings like this.
(they don't really scan anything, they go into the BCM and tell the truck hey, you have switches!)
Cheap, easy, and doubles as a diagnostic tool.
I recently discovered I can use JSCAN to set my idle up while using the winch, too.

You don't need to buy the most expensive Bluetooth ODB adapter - the VGATE one works for almost anything you may want to do.

I'd also find a different dealer, though. The local dealer added passive entry to the VIN on my 2020 and didn't even charge me. I had it already configured using JSCAN after I installed the hardware, but any future flashes could have disabled it again. I told them I was prepared to pay 50-100 bucks to have them do the add that sales code to my VIN, but when I picked up my truck, the invoice was marked $0.
