Severity of hinge corrosion covered by warranty

I have a 21 jt with a build date if 08/20. I am coming up on my corrosion warranty, so i check every couple months for corrosion. Over the winter some popped up. One hinge has a decent chip. The other corrosion is a couple small bubbles above a hinge on the rr door, some very small bubbles on the tailgate, and small bubble and chip of paint came off inside my LR door. Anyone have success getting pretty minor stuff covered? My local dealers are usually not helpful, so im concerned theyll just brush it off till the warranty is up. Ive already had the transmission fail, im kind of on the fence of getting rid of it before the corrosion gets bad.

After having the doors and tailgate previously replaced under warranty, the day before the warranty expired the hood was approved for replacement from a single small bubble forming under the paint.

I had pretty good luck with my local Jeep dealer. Their body shop did the inspection and got approvals from Jeep for the warranty work. I took it in for just a few hinges that showed paint bubbling. They ended up replacing all four doors, all door hinges, and resprayed the hood. I contacted Jeep to see why they didn't approve repairing or replacing the windshield hinges, which were the only parts where the paint was actually peeling. They are supposed to get back with me.

You may want to contact Jeep prior to taking it into your dealer. Good luck.

Very small bubbles were approved for mine. Hard to see in this pic but it’s there. Any sign at all of corrosion and it will get worse so make sure to try and get it all replaced.

Well glad to hear people are having good luck with it. I reached out to the place i bought it hopefully itll work out. I was planning on keeping this a few more years.

Mine was built 8/20, so i thought i was close, but i guess covid delayed it selling. I called and they told me i have 10 months left.
