Hello, I’m stuck between 3 shock options for a Clayton 2.5” Lift

1. Fox 2.0 Performance IFP for a 2-3” Lift

2. Fox 2.5 Performance IFP for a 2-3.5” Lift

3. Fox 2.5 Elite Remote Reservoir Adjustable DSC 2-3“ lift

Do you think the DSC adjusters are worth it? Will I notice much from the regular 2.0 IFP to the 2.5” IFP? I heard the Mopar lift kit was bouncy, are these the same 2.5” shocks that come with it? Should I avoid them?

I’ve also read something about people having the Clayton springs falling out while flexing do I need shorter shocks than what I’d assume?

I would say it depends on when your using that jeep for.
Personally I believe you wont find a better shock then the 2.5 with resi/ adjusters. Rides great on road. and if you like to get after it off-road you have that adjustability to keep the shocks cool and always riding great.
If you only are daily driving the rig and never touching dirt then any fox shock will be perfect.
For the springs Jk's and Jl's are known for having much more drop out then up travel. I wouldn't limit your suspension with shocks as that can damage the shocks. use spring captures or limit strap to keep the springs from falling out.

I am running Fox 2.0's on my 3.5" Clayton lift and it rides wonderfully. It is stiff enough to corner better than stock but plush enough to take a big hit smoothly. I also tow a travel trailer and they are very stable.

Overall, I am more happy with the 2.0s than I thought I would be.

Thanks! I ordered the 2.0s as well since they’re so cheap. I’ll evaluate my options and maybe upgrade to 2.5 dsc’s on Black Friday.
