Hey Everyone, Jeep overland here in Los Angeles. Traded my GMC Yukon in on this 2020 in late 2019. I overpaid but I needed a vehicle and waiting wasn't really an option. So they took me for a ride, haha.

I have been slowly adding several functional parts that suit my needs. I would love to lift this and be more off-road capable (I haven’t given up completely ), but unfortunately, I spend most of my time on the road. The dirt road use I get is camping, which the Jeep handles well being unmodified.

This is basically a dad build, but I like the peace of mind of having a lightly modified daily driver. Previous vehicles have suffered the fate of my mechanical abilities.

Parts added
-Mopar steel folding tonneau cover
-Mopar receiver
-Mopar floor mats
-XG Cargo Magne-Lok Magnetic Sun Shade
-Baja Designs Squadron-R SAE Sport LED Fog Pocket Light
-Proclip Jeep center dash mount
-Rhino-Rack USA SG60 SG Roof Rack System
-Window Tint

Future parts/wish list
-Mopar lift (big maybe)
-Baja designs bumper kit LP4
-slightly more aggressive A/T tire
-steel lockbox for the center console

I have a few takes offs that I would basically give away if anyone needs them.
-Stock tires
-Stock bumper pocket lights
-Stock rear bumper bar? ( I read some people like this for wheeling because of the receiver dragging?)

Hey, thanks! I love it! It stays on when you have the hardtop on and just clips when you wanna use it. decent noise reduction and helps a lot with the sun. I'm a big fan of the build quality also!

I have been waiting for the 2024 Gladiators to be released. The truck is too expensive for what it comes with, and dealerships have somehow become even less hospitable. I will keep my 2020 JTO until the prices tank, or I'll try and grab a 2023 JTR eventually.

In the meantime, I purchased a used 2020 JLU 4cly for daily driving. I got a hard-fought deal on it. The turbo makes it zippy, and I get 17-19mpg here in LA(compared to my JTO 12mpg).

Obviously, there are a lot of great midsized trucks in the market. I'm no expert, but Jeep should probably address the powerplant.

Here are some photos of my new truck and my pups.
