I’m also noticing your rear brackets are set considerably further back than mine. Are you using trail rails or just the universal mounting hardware?

Sure, I will be sure to post a few more pics soon. Yes, I had to set my brackets/cross bars back a bit the gen. 2 XL is a bit longer than I anticipated. I would say it sticks out past the closed tailgate about a foot. I also wanted to leave plenty of room to manipulate the cover between the cab. My setup is universal I do not have the trial rail system.
