Conrats!

Really just depends on where you want to go camping. We just sold a luxury 37' 4 slide 5th wheel because it was keeping us from camping where we wanted to camp!

What is the weight of the trailer and how does the diesel do with power on hills, etc.

Micro Minnies are the perfect size for Gladiators, 7' wide just over 3,000 pounds, tandem axles and large refrigerators, tough to beat, probably my next camper in a year or two! I'm setting my Gladiator to sleep in, but we need a camper also for most camping trips with wife. NICE!.........Jack

Sorry RTT guys but ... I can sleep in a tent anywhere without all the weight and bed obstruction. Figured my money was better spent on this!

I haven't brought it to a weight station so I can only go off the manufacturer's info which is 3010lbs dry. My eyeball guestimate would be 3400-3600-ish. Unfortunately I can't compare it to the 3.6l since I haven't towed it with our '17 JK. The diesel tows it nicely and feels similar in power to a Ram 1500 5.7 I once towed the trailer with. The eco-d will go into 8th on a flat but it much more prefers 7th as a final gear at interstate speeds (65-70). My only complaint would be the smaller tank size but we're mostly towing within one to two tanks range ATM anyway, which is about 2.5hrs worth of highway driving.

We went with the 1700bh. It has the most ride height and the most versatility IMHO. It sleeps 5 comfortably (with memory foam) has an awesome amount of storage room especially with the bottom bunk flipped up, a 15k btu A/C, gas and electric heater, stoves, microwave, shower, toilet, it's basically a full size tow behind intelligently shrunk down.

With this setup I could take anything with me that we wanted within reason.

That set-up, for me, is a bit beyond reason

I think you'd win the game of life if only your G6 with servants with maid's dresses were in the photo :handsinair:

Yes, it is a bit overkill and has been fun, but this is why we are downsizing......
