Smittybuilt XRC GEN3 98612 12K Winch

Out of the box install.
No power at all, no lights on the controller.
The fuse was blown on the control box (yes, I verified all the wiring twice).
Bought new fuses, replaced, lights on the controller.

Tried winding in / out - nothing except a high pitch whine from the control box. (Solenoid was not spooling up power to drive the winch motor).

Unhooked / rehooked everything, double checked all the connections again which were correct.

Called Smittbuilt Mon they said they would ship a replacement box, got no shipping info, called today and it said to call back during normal business hours?

Anyone know what their business hours are or how to get ahold of someone there?
Even tried email.

Should not have gotten a winch that was dead out of the box, hoping I actually get a new control box and it works, anyone else have any experience with them or even replacing the solenoid?

Been there. Received and installed winch (about a year ago). Smittybilt people did answer phone and shipped me new solonoid. Which worked, but the wired remote would not detach from the winch. Called again. Smittybilt shipped new wired remote part. It worked. Winch did work well the one time I actually needed it on the trail. But, yeah, it took those two replacement parts to make it work. I will say that the customer service was great.
