..................... do they have a cycle for bringing back paint colours?
Nothing I have seen that is a predictor of if or even when a specialty color may come back.

They do not. Like most things Stellantis, I think its darts and a dart board. Some special colors hang out forever and others seem to never re-surface (WHERE ARE YOU GECKO AND MOJITO?!).

I saw a Snazzberry Willys JT on my drive to work today and even with the gross OH road salt all over it, that color looked great.

I bought this 2021 Overland in August. Found it online and loved the color.

When I ordered in spring of 2022, I missed snazzberry by a day. My wife said go blue again, then when I got home she said no, do snazzberry (I love them both and would be happy with either) and I called the sales guy and he said it had just been removed, he couldn't order it.
My wife has for many years wanted a "purple Jeep".
Ask Spencer here - when he asked my wife for her 3 top color choices -
Purple
purple
purple

WK2s never came in that - and then she asked, - how about painting it? I told her she didn't even want to talk about going down THAT road.
So she got a slate blue WK2

Then January 2023 I made a big mistake and decided to tease her - saw a reign Wrangler in a showroom. Took a picture, texted it to her and that was a week of living #!@$%
How much? Is it for sale?
told her the price, and yeah, it's new in the showroom, it's for sale...
I got home to "did you find me a purple Jeep yet?
A week of calling, writing, searching, begging our sales guy to find her a purple jeep - PLEASE!
Nothing in our area.
I found only about 220 in the whole country for sale at dealerships - most on the coasts or days away. But none had the options she wanted or needed (with some handicaps, there are some things that are a must)
I had visited the sales guy again, asking some other stuff - my wife thinking I was lining something up.
I get home and she greets me with "do i need to go out there with you?"
OK, let's go - I'll let Scott know we're coming.
He's a really smart sales guy - she pulled in facing a freshly washed reign JLU Rubicon missing only a couple of the things we'd been searching for.
I never once considered it because of the price most of all - way outside of our normal range. She finally realized that color was a once in xx years limited edition, may never come out again color and after we explained what she'd be giving up, she decided she could live without those things - and she said "I'll take it".

I told her to take really good care of it as it may be the last new purple Jeep ever seen and if it's totaled, it can't be replaced.

I get it that for some - color has a huge meaning, like some people bought this car instead of that car because of some minor styling differences or whatever.

Snazzberry was what sold my wife on the Gladiator. Hydro Blue was a close second.

July of 23, I was seriously looking at a 2023 Hydro Blue Rubicon in Winchester VA (about 4 hours away) but there was a geographic incentive that we didn't qualify for and it didn't have many of the options I wanted.

I was just kind of looking through Car Guru's to find other options and found my 2021 Snazzberry Rubicon, used with 3K miles on it and optioned with everything I wanted, a few I would not have ordered but it was the color that my wife wanted and at a price that was satisfactory to me. Needless to say, I made the drive to Newport News to buy it.
