Greetings @Senex , congratulations, and welcome to the forum! Those Mojave takeoffs look great. Question, aside from the TPMS issue did you experience any other issues in handling or performance adding these larger wheels/tires to a Sport S stock suspension?

Following this thread. Love to see the base Sport get some attention.

Thanks! None at all so far, they are actually almost the same diameter. 285/70 = 199.5mm sidewall height for the Mojaves, and 245/70 = 183.75 sidewall height for stock (Note it's a Sport, not a Sport S).

So overall 31.5mm difference in diameter, and so far they're not causing any issues. Certainly abit more road noise, but in a good way!

Another couple of the JT. I will be at GSMJI in Pigeon Forge on the Saturday and Sunday as the official photographer at Three Bears General Store, with the mural round back. Was doing some recon this evening, so here's a taster:

Bottom Line Up Front - stock size tires and wheels are highly unlikely to cause major problems. The JT platform was designed with 35” tires in mind. YMMV
Getting different numbers from here but similar story https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=245-70r17-285-70r17
