Joined the Jeep Family

Today, I officially joined the Jeep family with a brand new 2025 Rubicon X in Anvil! Lurking around here beforehand really helped me choose this truck.

I’m coming from a 2012 Toyota Tundra and am surprised how “refined” the Gladiator is. Rides smoother and it’s quieter than I expected. Thought I’d miss the full size space of the Tundra, but I surprisingly don’t. Can’t imagine how much better it will be off road.

Some old pics from when I used to wheel my ‘96 4Runner. Rolled with a Jeep crew and was jealous how much more easily they got over obstacles.

Welcome!! ……. Wheeled with (and owned) Toyota’s and Jeeps many many years ago…. We (including Jeep folks) were always impressed with how well the Toyota’s and those IFS rigs did on the rocks.

Jeeps took the ‘challenge’ out of it and made it seem easy - which - made you go farther, spend more money, and go more extreme.

Beautiful Truck, the only one you can ride with the top off without modifying it.
