Soft top question

Just bought a used soft top. With the top down and rear window out, should I also pull the corners off. Not sure with the wind blowing through if they would pop out or not. Doors are on for now but assuming when the doors are off there will be even more force on them.

Interesting question. I always take my corners off, but is it absolutely necessary to do so?

In the end, I'd hate to find out the hard way that you shouldn't leave them on with the back panel off.

By the manual you are supposed to remove the corners when you remove the back window.
The back window pretty much is what keeps them on and they do slip out easy once the window is off.
They might not pop out, but I wouldn't risk it.

Panel Cover Assemblies

NOTE: Both quarter panel cover assemblies and the
rear window must ALL be removed together, or

installed together.
