The standard vehicle alarm and immobilizer works decently. Add cameras and a dog in the yard for additional deterrence. Lock your hood and gas cap. Not much can be done with the spare though. Haven't seen a locking spare setup like how my old GMC had.

Dan, the bolt lock attached to existing holes, as I recall, but they supply rivets of a larger diameter than the rivet gun I have so I used stainless bolts with nylock nuts. Bolt lock supplies a pre cut grill for all of the Jeep models except the Gladiator so you will have to cut a few ‘cells’ out of your grill, and they provide a template.
When I cut my grill I found that their template was one hole too low. I emailed Bolt lock and they apologized and without my prompting sent me a new grill insert direct from Quadratec! i then Learned that their are like 5 different part numbers/versions of grill inserts and the one they sent does not match my Jeep. My suggestion, measure three times before cutting your grill. Also, the grill shell is really simple to remove, and re-install.
As far as the key, it sets to your door key the first time you use it and it has worked great. I have since bought one of their padlocks for my in-bed tool box. Also, the key hole has a shutter across it and is covered by a tight fitting black rubber cover.

Sad to say. Vehicle thefts are on the rise. Proximity key fobs and push starts make it easier to steal vehicles. Anything that make more convenient for the public makes it easier for the thief. Catalytic converter thefts are also popular (precious metals)

I also forgot to mention. After market wheel locks. Thieves have been caught with bags of factory wheel locks and come prepared.
