I have bought aftermarket boots for other Mopar products with success. Aftermarket coils? Not so much. Went back to Mopar for the coils.

So ya, lots of mic drops in here. Man, it’s hot in here….
I think no mater what plugs we use, we should index them to the intake valve for better performance and MPG advantage! Mic drop.

Dam, sweaty palms. I’ll pick that up, sorry. It’s hot in here

I would hope the intake valve was closed way before the plug fires. I'd also hope that the charge swirls in and is clean across the chamber since both fuel and air have mass and will continue moving even after the valve is closed.

Would you index them to face any particular point or it doesn’t matter? Why is indexing a thing?

It was mostly to clear high-dome pistons in old-school high compression engines.

There are theories about pointing the open part toward the squish area, some said open side toward the hot exhaust valve and away from the incoming fuel.
(and of course others disagree)
I never messed with it because if there was a gain, you would have to dyno test each position and you may end up shrouding the end of the plug by using those washers. And that makes things worse.

Modern engines are so different you won't seen any impact with today's quick burn chambers.

Yea I heard they changed it, I want the new one I think there might have been leaks and even a tsb on the older one
Replaced one in a JL after some other repairs (dealer tech). I was given the outdated design unknowing. The engine died shortly after due to guzzling oil through the PCV. The intake had over a quart of oil in it
