Has anyone else had issues with the factory speakers cutting in and out intermittently?

Since brand new, when I turn my vehicle on all the speakers cut out except the rear passenger side. It only happens for a second or two but it is very consistent. I highly doubt its a wireing issue and more a software one. Should I be concerned?

That is the Nav or something cutting inwith a message but the voice is too low for you to hear it. Next time it does it use your volume up control and you will hear what you are missing.

I hear it. One speaker continues to work. I think it’s the passenger rear speaker. The rest cut out.

edit: I reread that properly. I’ll give that a try thanks.

You’re welcome. Let me know if it is the same thing. In my case I had my iPhone connected listening to music and the Waze railroad crossing alert was playing but the volume was way down and I couldn’t hear the Waze voice.

My sport has been doing this also. I'll be driving down the road and all of a sudden one of the speakers will kick back on and the music gets louder and clearer.

Check your phone bluetooth settings, if you have messages enabled to be shown over bluetooth then this might be the cause.

Do you ever get a blue screen when shifting into reverse? When I get the blue screen, my audio goes out repeatedly for a second or 2. I'm planning on taking it to the dealer sometime soon to have them take a look.

It could be -- that your phone is plugged in and it is telling you that your phone got a message or something. You do no hear anything because the volume is turned down for that instant... Try to catch it in the act and quickly turn up the volume, then, you will hear what it is telling you. The volume control knob has different settings for music and information, and you can change those settings instantly with the volume knob when one of those conditions is present.

Ok your partly right. I used my NAV for the first time last night and when the Nav kicks in, it cuts all the speaker except the back left speaker. That is exactly what is happening to me at startup except the Nav part isn’t happening, just the speakers cutting out.

No. I have thankfully not experienced this at all.

As branky3 mentioned I think it will also do this through the Bluetooth connection but in my case it was because my phone was connected via the USB port.

I always connect my phone with USB so I can use Android auto. Ill keep it disconnected today and see if that makes a difference.
