Some peeps up north will be getting their call soon. Saw a hauler with 6 Glads on it heading north on I95 yesterday in Delaware. Still had their protective clings on some panels and wheels. Nice and spiffy.

Kind of wish dealers would leave that stuff on, specially when you order.. then when you get there you get to unwrap like a new cell phone.

You can request your dealer to not prep the vehicle from the factory before you take possession. I have done this several times.

I did this for my then 2018 Wrangler JL. Only other advice is to just tell them to make sure to take the vehicle electronics out of "Transport/Shipping" mode with the OEM scan tool or you will have the dash light up like a Christmas tree a mile or so down the road and reduced power. Found that out the hard way.
