Hey yall, so yesterday on the way to work I've caught one h*** of a pot hole and now I hear this horrible noise when turning the wheel while not in motion. Please help me out here. I'm working long night shifts and just got off, tried pulling and pressing on everything under front left tire but came figure out the cause. Haven't tried jack yet because I left mine 2 hours away like a dummy. I'm out of town for work. Thanks for the info in advanced. I'm praying it's not expensive or dangerous soon

With out tools going to be hard to diagnose. When I had this issue it was Actually the bearing on the steersmarts sector shaft brace that had gone bad. Another buddy had a similar issue, loose lower ball joints. If you had tools I'd say just check torques but with out them hard to say.

I had that, and it ended up being my sector shaft collar was loose to the mounting bracket.
