I didn’t do anything with my tie rods. I was checking my drag link and sway bar links. Your chart shows the same thing I found for drag links. The chart you showed me made me worry I need to recheck again because maybe I looked at NM
Can you let us know where you found the 63 ft-lb figure for the tie rod? Looks like it’s 47 on the JL, which shares the front end with the JT.
Just want to make sure I and anyone who finds this thread in the future use the correct torque.

I think this is what they call "premature wear" ; ) likely not a day 1 concern, but maybe after feeding her tons of pie, and then bounce her around a bunch this should just be expected.

Mine does too. I'll check the torque.

I just found this thread. Noticed mine making same noise with same play when I used the bar to slide out from under my truck. 10,000 mile and haven’t even had it really off road yet.

I’m guessing this is just how they are from the factory? Thanks.

Obviously been a few years, but I replaced my track bar, but that didn't solve the noise iirc. I think it was my anti sway bar nuts that weren't tightened to spec. Get a torque wrench and double check all the torque on any nuts and bolts you can reach. I do think that the play is supposed to be there a little bit
