Hey there Boys and Girls-

I don't want to give any false hope, but JeepChat told me that "Sold Orders" move to the very front of the line. I.e., if your Dealer marked yours as "Sold" you get built first.

You should also know that JeepChat can and will give you info right up to the "KZ" Status. I am very familiar with Brenda and Diana and the rest of em. Very nice. After it gets put on a train then only the dealer has that information.

Finally, I wanted to post up my dates so you could get a sense of how long a very recent order of a JL took.

May 31, 2019 - Order placed with DeMontrond in Conroe, TX
June 5, 2019 - VIN Created
June 12, 2019 - Build Sheet Created
June 14, 2019 - KZ Status - "released by plant and invoiced"
June 15, 2019 - Window Sticker Created
July 1 2019 - Expected delivery to Pearland Railyard
July 5, 2019 - Expected delivery to dealer in Conroe.

Notable exceptions:
Steel front bumper
Trail cam

My birthday is August 18th which should be close to delivery date. I can dream can't I?

It is nice to be waiting on delivery as opposed to waiting to order!

VON is created as soon as the dealer submit the order, so you should be able to ask them for it. I got my VIN a few days later, I don’t know exactly when.

It took me 3 weeks to get a VIN on my JLU but my build moved very smoothly.

I received my VON when I placed my order.

We have a lot of August birthdays in here. Mine is the 11th of August and I am hoping it arrives by then but I am sure that is wishful thinking.
