And I was merely adding that you may not get that 4 inches of suspension travel both ways from the factory.

I'll have to measure my bump stop clearances - my hunch is that your suggestion is right.
The shock may have it, but not the rest of the stuff is what I believe you are saying.

I didn't take measurements and clearances when my truck was stock except for the dreaded EcoDiesel bottoming out issue and no wonder.
Now the only two measurements I really concern myself with are bump stock clearance and shock travel. Fortunately they're both pretty straightforward.
