Did you go with the MetalCloak 3.5" springs or the 4.5" ones? And did you replace both front and back or just the back?
Just the rears and 4.5” with the weight of my tent, rack, batteries and fridge it brought it almost level with the front. A little higher in the rear but not really noticeable

Thanks! I don't really have any weight in the back, but have heard the MetalCloak springs sag a bit more than the Clayton ones over time. Concerned that going with a 3.5" spring might have the rear lower than the Clayton fronts....

I will tell you when I have the bed empty they come right back up to where they are. I currently have my rack and tent and two gunner kennels back there and they are sitting about 1” taller than the front.

Reviving a dead thread, but did @Clayton Off Road provide you with a solution other than sourcing a competitors set of springs? Just got back from Moab and the back half of mine sounds eerily similar to yours. You can really hear it when coming up to a stop. Makes the Jeep sound like it's a 1981 Jeep and not a 2021 Jeep....
Hey there! We've always suggested either re-using factory isolators or picking up a set of after market isolators for anybody having this issue. Basically all it is is in some instances, the top most portion of the rear coils touch and create a noise, so inserting the isolators between the top most wounds solves the issue perfectly :like:

For whatever reason this has only been an issue for a very small number of customers, we are not sure why some experience the noise and some don't, none of our vehicles here are able to replicate it, but feedback has always been that the isolators take care of it! I'll leave a link below in case you no longer have your factory isolators.

I ordered the recommended isolators for the top of the coils to see if that solves the issue. Appreciate the quick response!

No problem! I apologize I have been a little slow responding lately, my wife and I just had a baby so I have been out of the office for a few weeks!

This ended up being the cause and solution for the rear end clunking / low pitch rattle on my Mojave. The rear coil springs are soft and the uppermost 2 or 3 coils are close together. The factory insulation is not long enough. On small sharp bumps, the exposed metal coils would hit each other and cause clunking / low-pitch rattling. It sounded like something was loose in the bed or bumper

thanks for the tip!
