Surging while in 4 low only

After a hard day on the trail my gasser started surging when engaged in 4 low and moving. No problems in neutral. No problems in 4 high. Only when moving in 4 low.

I have not tested it out again to see if it went away after cooling down.

Any thoughts on what could cause that?

There is a torque reserve table in the software and it is set very light for the torque available off idle in 2HI. In 4 low on a hot day it the torque model probably struggles
