Swapped the factory Halogens for MP concepts Thanos lights

These were on a pretty good sale at extreme terrain. The DRL is not for everyone, but I like to be a bit different.
Wired the DRL to an aux switch, otherwise the install was a breeze, they supplied an adapter for the halogen harness, whole install took 20 minutes, plus an hour in an underground parking lot to aim properly.
Tons of low and high beam light.
Probably the most impressive thing was the housing and heat sinks, felt very close to OEM led lights.

I don’t have any pics driving at night, there is a fairly sharp cutoff, and if you catch a reflector right at the cutoff they do that weird blue reflection that only aftermarket leds seem to make. Under the cutoff, very consistent and bright light for the whole lit field.

The semi-ring is kind of meh. Gives the angry grill effect without the angry grill. I don't get the halo ring thing, I just want an L.E.D. that works as a headlight without all the other crap.

Then simply don't wire the halo. Solved.

I agree with that. I don’t know about other lights, but the halo for these was just a wire, you could just not connect it, but yeah maybe doing that with a halo that’s completely invisible when off is the move.
