Taillight Guards! They do exist!

Finally found some, on Ebay of all places.
not bad for 62$, there are a ton of listings. they all seemed to be the same product.

they are ABS plastic, and two piece. attached with 3m tape. Would they protect if you back into a tree? doubtful. maybe branches slapping at best. Still, they look pretty good.

i do agree, though ive looked and looked and looked and looked again...i have yet to find anything metal or even that would fit.

I do not think there really is any practical tail light guards out there. The few times I have seen the tail lights get damaged on trails, they seem to be designed to actually break away on purpose and be sacrificial to minimize further body panel damage. Any add on cover or grille would negate that.

I think more conformal hugging designs like Oracle and a couple of others better address the concern of mitigating damage tail lights.
