We rate the steps at a 300lb limit. We tested with an additional safety factor with no damage or deflection, though the weak point is really the rock rails, not the steps. Our testing was done with the steps installed, so testing both the step and rock rail. If you are just over 300lbs, you would be fine, but too much over I would suggest looking for a frame-mounted option that replaces the rock rail.
