Any plans to make the full length?
I emailed with Kathy today, a IAG rep, IAG makes a full length set for the Bronco, and IAG is in process of designing a set they will sell for the Wrangler and Gladiator, they hope to be available by early summer. Kathy told me she would let me know when they are available. I will be buying a set as soon as they have them available. Here is a link to the youtube video of them for the Bronco

The 2-door bronco full length steps are currently on sale for $600. Normally $750.

So, for the gladiator I’m guessing they’d be north of $1,000.

Not trying to be facetious but who is the market for this?

I thought it might be for folks who maybe don’t want to remove their factory rails, but to install the spacers you’re unbolting the factory rails…at which point you could just bolt on any set of rail with steps. There’s even made in USA options at that price if that’s your thing: https://americantrailproducts.com/Jeep-Gladiator-JT-Rock-Rail-Side-Steps_p_116.html

And the answer is I am possibly in the market for this, I will have to see when they are available,
I am not afraid of wrenching, I have been doing it all my life.
The IAG add ons for the stock rock rail appear to be wider than the rock slider/steps you showed, providing more protection from rocks and mud slinging up from the tires, door dings from parking lots, and a big part of getting them is what appears to be a wider step to help my aging dog jumping up and into the seats (I have one of those flat platforms over the rear seating for him). The what appears to be a wider step for the front will also be better for my wife and I getting into our stock height Nighthawk. I have no interest in any drop down step rock rails, or the rock rail steps with areas that my dog might slip a foot thru, and I do not want to take off the stock rock rails. I have looked at many different rock rails with steps, none of which I have been tempted to buy until I saw these.

I may have totally different usages, wants and needs for my Jeep than you do. Not to be "facetious", but who buys a new jeep, and takes off the stock tires and wheels, and spends 2 to 3 thousand to replace them, and spends another 2 k replacing the suspension and adding a lift kit, and on, and on. I have done none of those things. Different strokes for different folks.

My Nighthawk is a "toad" to pull behind my motorhome, to go play with when we go out in it. It is one of my daily drivers, and It is a pickup for when I need to pull my boat.

I didnt have to remove the rock rails to install mine. if I would have needed to do that, I would have returned these. The ease of install was 1/2 of why I wanted them. That said, they are pricey for sure. Especially considering other full rails are about $300 for the pair. My wife digs them and they were easy enough to put on.

The Bronco style is a great idea but it's pricey.

I just finished corresponding with Kathy from IAG and am standing by to see what the full length steps will cost.

My wife and I are both short and will just have to stretch our legs In the mean time. It's worse for her though, the JTM is her daily driver :) .

As long as the full length steps are the reduced price of $600 like the Bronco, they will be worth the price. The regular price of $750 is a little steep. I'm guessing that's why they are reduced.

We are still working on the actual design and implementation of the full-length steps for the Jeep so pricing is still going to be a little bit. We will definitely post about them once we get a bit closer though!

Yea or even 2”, 3” or 4” drop?
There is an other company making a drop down set that I'm planning to pickup when available. You can see about it in the exterior mods thread.

Let's kick things off with a brand new product to the Jeep market. We started making the IAG EZ-Steps for the Bronco market in 2021 and they've proven to be one of our most popular products. As soon as they were released we had Wrangler and Gladiator owners calling and asking for a similar solution for their Jeeps. We're happy to announce that we have now begun offering these steps for the Jeep market.

What is an IAG EZ-Step?

Getting in and out of the 2020+ Jeep Gladiator or 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU can be a challenge, especially if the vehicle has been lifted. If you, or your passengers, could use an extra step up, the IAG EZ-Step Add-On is the perfect solution. The patent pending IAG EZ-Step is engineered to fit your Jeep’s OEM rock rails, providing a smoother entry and exit. Best of all, the sturdy foothold eliminates the need to step on the painted door sills, protecting them from scuffs, scratches, and wear. The steps are easily removable for more serious off-road adventures.

Shop EZ-Step on IAGOFFROAD.COM:

IAG EZ-STEP ADD-ON (2 PAIR) FOR 2018+ JEEP WRANGLER JLU 4 DOOR / 2020+ JT GLADIATOR

IAG EZ-STEP ADD-ON (1 PAIR) FOR 2018+ JEEP WRANGLER JL 2 DOOR

Your Choice of Accent Color

Built tough with TIG-welded, high-strength mandrel-bent tubing, 3/16” thick steel brackets, and a ⅛” thick aluminum foothold plate, the IAG EZ-Steps feature a black anti-skid powder-coated finish for lasting durability and added safety. Each EZ-Step comes with an eye-catching IAG logo plate—available in Red, Orange, Blue, Black, Raw Stainless, Neon Yellow, Teal, Pink, or White—allowing you to add a customized touch to compliment your Jeep’s exterior.

Made in the USA

Each IAG EZ-Step is made 100% in-house in our Maryland and Pennsylvania facilities by our hardworking staff of engineers, welders, and fabricators. Our support team is also 100% USA based in Maryland. Your purchase of IAG EZ-Steps supports American jobs.

Any way to secure those to the factory rock rail. those seem like a temporary solution that would be lifted very easily.

Disregard, I see them. Interesting. For daily driving will the tightners on those brackets stay tight?

I have had them on for about a month and so far they are as stable as the day I installed them. I am thinking though of selling them (all 4 together or 2 pairs separately) as with my height, they are not low enough to act as a step for me personally. If anyone is interested, pls DM me. I live in Ohio.

I ordered a set of these Monday morning, and they were at my door Wednesday afternoon. Love them!

I know a lot of people have balked at the price, but you can really tell the amount of work that goes into making these. Very high-quality workmanship. (Not to mention the insanely over-engineered packing material! Little chance of these being damaged in transit.)
