Hello! Has anyone seen this issue and/or how to fix it? There is now a weird (white/orange) piece hanging in front of my outside temp reading.

It isnt a tag on a protective film that's on the screen, is it? Kinda like what comes on a new cell phone screen?

Nope, it's behind the plastic. I've got 45K on it and the thing just appeared.

It looks exactly like a gauge needle. Maybe I'm crazy, but does the digital temp have a gauge and b/c I live in FL and it's usually so bloody hot, it doesn't appear?!

Doesn't the baseline 5" radio come with a smaller center cluster with mechanical gauges? Doesn't explain how one of those needles with get in your dash though.

I was trying to not make fun of it, but that’s what I was going to make a joke of—your digital temp has a needle….like an old YJ gauge needle.

If you put the radio station up there it could pass as a tuner needle.

Nice! Extra parts. Nothing like assembly trash to mess it up.

I am pretty sure the bezel lens cover is a replaceable part and that tells me they can open it up and probably pull it out without too much fuss.

If the dealership decides to replace it, they may want your vehicle to stay onsite while they record your exact mileage and order a replacement programed to that mileage.

Me personally, I would say do it yourself if your skill set is there to remove and open it up. Dealership likely to ham fist it and break and/or nick the interior getting it out.

Much appreciated, thank you!
