Hey all,

I'm trying to understand why you need to install those bump stop extensions when installing the leveling kit. My understanding is that the kit lowers the coil but wont affect suspension travel. So by installing the spacers you effectively also stretch the shock. By raising the front by an 1-1/2 the shock will lose that amount in the shock droop but you would also lose 1-1/2 in full shock compression so even at full compression the shock could not bottom out. If the shock isn't bottoming out before the leveling kit, how would it bottom out now? What am I missing?

Might the coil go into “bind” without the bump stop spacer? What about so you can keep larger tires from getting into the flare? The Teraflex 1.5 leveling kit does seem to be a little lacking.

After installing Rubicon Springs on my max tow, I have coil bind with the 1 and 1/2-in teraflex lift. I didn't have that before with just my sport springs and the teraflex lift.
