I did it for much less, my local dealer was about $1,700 more so I made the drive to Idaho.

Flights are silly right now because of the current circumstances, so flights were being cancelled to Boise pretty much every day.

12-hours each way, a night of hotel, I still saved about $900 over buying local.

Your situation might have made me think about whether the $1700 was worth it. But in my area nobody was selling for less than MSRP, and the dealer that was the lowest at MSRP didn't want to order one for me.

My flight was $120 in the beginning of January 2022.
