Third brake light on Gladiator

On my 2021 Jeep Gladiators third brake light plug has gone bad it is too loose to eliminate the light in the tailgate when the brakes are applied you can push it in or twist it a little bit and it will light up when the brakes are applied but normally it is not eliminate does anybody know where you can get this plug with a 6-in section of wire to repair this plug so my light will work

Many folks have had this problem including myself. It is always the brake light itself. I've actually replaced the plug originally myself as well. The board inside the light is poorly soldered.

If you are under warranty, the dealership will replace it. If not, it is relatively inexpensive part and super easy to replace by yourself.

I had it go out. Replaced under warranty….
Between mouthfuls of burrito my service writer said he was surprised it was included under 3/36. He thought it would go away with 12month. It’s not a light bulb. It’s a permanent feature. Love my dealer.

I just need to end the prongs on the light and plug back in has worked every since.
