2020 Gladiator Overland.
My wife's jeep and the third tail light stopped working and after checking connectors as per forum I bought new light. U tube for install great. Price of $122.00 OUCH. After new in 15 minutes.
Took old one apart and broke red lens but found bad solder joint on negative connection. 3 years and 2 months. No warranty for a deffective part that was the superceded AC.
Wife happy ME NOT SO MUCH

You aren't the first - there's a number of threads and posts about these lights, and how sometimes it's a connector at the back of the bed, sometimes it's a connection on the board in the light.
The solder connection is a fairly common thing based on the years of posts here about it.
