We picked up our 2020 Mojave at the very end of July. We after going back snd forth on a rubicon liked that the Mojave was more unique and better suited for the type of off-roading we see in Florida.

we knew we were planning on a cross country road trip in a light camper, and just got back two days ago.

we towed a 3,500LB camper 6,000 miles, from Florida to Utah and Arizona, through mountain passes in Colorado, tackled Hells Revenge (and even Hells gate) in Moab, and got back and used it to move a new bed for our kiddo the next day.

We are very impressed. I’ll do a more thorough towing review if anyone is interested. It had a few issues but i sincerely believe those were caused by poor design from our CAMPER, not the truck itself. Specifically clearance issues because we needed to drop the receiver so far to get the trailer level. It did feel underpowered when towing into heavy winds, but hills and mountains were a non issue.

the upgrades to the truck were functional and practical but it has no real performance mods. We went with 315/70/17 Cooper STT pro tires on the stock wheels, a new front bumper and winch, the JCR roof rack, a Roam storage box for recovery gear and tools, Bullitliner, and CVT awning. Stock suspension and gears and skid plates. Only issue offroad was the clearance in the rear, but the hitch receiver was a great bash plate and took all of the abuse with no issues.

for towing we had a curt weight distribution hitch, curt sway bar, and Reese trailer brake controller.

came back with a few scrapes and scratches and a lifetime of memories, the truck was awesome. I have lots more photos and videos, including shots of hells gate which was a blast. We also have an Instagram account for our family travels @offtheeasyroad
