Hey all,

As you may have seen in another thread, my Gladiator with 1,500 miles got hit from someone blowing a stop sign. Negotiations took a month with insurance, and we finally settled. Got to take off a bunch of the good stuff from the old truck, 8" radio, Rock Rails, 35"s etc. Left the 2" lift as it was jacked from the hit.

Picked up a new white Rubicon with a bunch of the options I wanted. Now the question, do I lift it with the Mopar lift? Throw the 35"s on without a lift? Has anyone installed a Mopar lift with a level kit to bring up the front a bit? I know my old Sport S sagged a bit after the lift and I believe the Rubicon is a bit heavier.

Thoughts?

Thanks for your help!

Glad you are ok and that things worked out in the end it seems. The Rubi is looking sharp:like:

I've been running 35's with no lift for 23K miles now with no problems. I have done some badge trails also. I want to lift it at some point but I am so happy with the factory ride.

No need for a lift to run 35's, do it because you want to. The factory 2" lift is overpriced for what it is, there are so many better alternatives in that price range that include an adjustable front track bar.

Like @Troybilt, we're happy with the ride and towing capability of the JTR without a lift. We'll see if that changes, but it's going to be a tough sell.

I've dropped some cash on under armor for control arm brackets and differentials, that's about it.

Personally Im happy I went with the Mopar lift and added a JKS track bar. Im not needing aftermarket arms and their joints. Rides great as well

Looks great! Which spacer did you go with?

Looks great - wouldn’t change a thing until you enjoy it for a while. The Rubicon looks to sit more “level” than my 2020 overland. Considering a 1.5” front spring spacer leveling lift.

I have your same jeep! At least color wise. I have mine on 37's with the 2" Mopar lift and the .75" spacer from Rough Country. When I lifted mine about a year ago those were some of the only options available. Now I'd probably go with the Metal Cloak. My 37's do not rub and I've had it offroad a few times. I don't think you'd rub with 35's on a stock Rubicon.

Thanks! I should clarify that I just have the .75" spacers up front to eliminate the rake. At first I was about .25" high in the front but I haven't checked that dimension since the install about a year ago.
