I have a Gladiator now and pulled my small RV to Colorado 3000 pounds with great difficulty. I would have to buy a oil company to continue to tow.
I need a diesel Jeep truck!

This is troubling! What type of trailer were you towing, and what was the difficulty, just fuel mileage? I'm leaning towards an offroad teardrop style like a Hiker or Oregon Trail'r. But I had been considering a larger 4000 to 5000lb. Stand up 4 person sleeper...

I have a Forest River RPod 180.
Fuel average to Ouray Colorado 9.2 rpm 4200 to 6000. Dry weight 2660 max 3500.
My load estimate 3300.. my JLU 2018 Rubicon did better than the truck. 900 LBS more.
People for get the wind resistance is a major player. 55-60 was the best after that was like hitting a wall.
I bought the truck to pull a RV I want to purchase Lance 1995 4700 dry loaded who knows estimate 500 more. I can’t imagine what this will do. The towing advertised 7000 is a joke yes it will pull it but at what cost running 5-6000 RPM,
Well I bought the Lance trailer weighs out at 5700 LBS loaded stayed 3 months in Ouray this summer July 2-October 3rd.
Pulled the lance 25 footer home and got a total average of 8.2 MPG or 140 miles average per fill up, in 3 months we drove the JT 8943 miles and stayed in Ouray the whole time.
Atter the lift my FCW quit working and Jeep says so what!

My FCW quit working after the 2.5 jeep lift was installed, dealer said the lift wont cause it . They put it on the tells all computer and it said Star center does not support testing without Active DTC,
so good by says the dealer.
Has anyone had this problem?

When you say FCW stopped working, was it like RIGHT when the lift went on? I cant imagine what the two would have to do with one another.
