I can see it for the everything but the JT. I'm embracing my soft top, therefore I can't move them back far enough to keep the glare off the hood ( I hate this as I feel it is way counter productive for introducing the added light) I did add a light on each side of the top roll bar for when the top is down, but they will be used for side illumination only, at a 90° from the vehicle, and hood lights at a 45° angle of the vehicle. probably 4 KC daylighters on the front bumper above the winch ( I have 2 spots now, but would like 2 driving/work lights added, so I have the ability to toggle between the 2 different types of light) Having roof lights just won't work for my JT. Moving them to the rear is not an option with the soft top, If I had a hard top and a roof rack I would explore the options, as I like lots of light!

A suggestion that might be a compromise:

I have a 30 inch bar similar to this from Rough Country and took it off. Two main reasons is here in Northern Michigan with the snow and Ice during the winter its just a PITA. Also because my vehicle is white the glare off the hood is ridiculous and yes you can aim the lights up but kind of defeats the purpose when you want the light down the road not up in the trees.

My understanding is that they've addressed this with the beam pattern. They talk about this very issue in their videos. The snow/ice concern is definitely valid.
