Look man, it takes time to get your hardware on. I take my sweet time at the depot, it’s the only 20-30 minutes of no one harassing me I get a week sometimes it feels like.

Likely they have no idea what they are looking for and "patiently" waiting for a HD rep to casually walk by and ask them if they are ok. My bet is they just dropped their significant other off at a shoe or clothing store and are just wasting time before having to go pick them up, that or they can't remember why they are at the hardware store and how to get back to the retirement home, lol

Are these the guy who like to pull bolts out of the drawers and put them back in the adjacent slot one size up/down?

I swear any time I buy more than a handful of loose bolts/nuts I end up with the wrong size thanks to someone just randomly tossing them back in the drawer.
