Love my 2021 Mojave but honestly, this is my first Jeep and first vehicle with large tires.
Here in TN we hit -5 degrees Friday and not much better since. My tire pressure alert has gone off saying I need to increase pressure to 37 psi and are down near 30.
While I know the cold weather lowers the pressure a bit, but is this magnified by having larger, fatter tires?? During normal weather it is not a problem but cold really plays havoc with this.
thanks,

Tire companies and tire sellers are now saying to air them up in cold weather - like in Iowa winter, I go air my tires up to a bit below where I might run them in summer - 34-35 for example.
More air, more "air shrinkage" in winter.
Mine would normally be at 28-29 if I didn't air them up in the winter. Today they were about 34 average, just below normal summer pressure.
In the spring I'll drop them as needed.

Just part of experience of owning it that usually you will have add air for winter and possibly deflate air when it warms up.

thanks,
'21 Mojave here as well.

1. 37 on the stock Falkens is stupid. Not you stupid. Jeep stupid. Try 33-35

2. On the gen 2 TPMS, which you likely have, you will need to EXCEED the placard inflation number by 4 PSI or more to clear the warning light.

3. You can adjust the warning PSI to whatever you want it to be using any one of a number ODB tools.
I used ECRI, which doesn't do as many things as the Tazer, but it also only costs about $100.

The TPMS on my JT is easily the most picky of any vehicle I’ve owned. Just a few psi is all that’s required for it to start nagging, and nagging, and nagging. This is made even worse by the fact that I liked my stock Mojave tires best at 34 psi, so any drop in temperature triggered the warning. Now I have a Taser, much better!

As I recall, even the stock Rubicon with stock Falkens says 36 on the door.
I had good luck with 35-36 when I had them on my Overland - even did the chalk test thing and it was determined to be correct.

And if you think about it, if the correct pressure for my Generals - according to their consumer support engineer (he was a real engineer, BTW) was 35, why would a taller and wider tire use MORE pressure?
I upped my winter pressure the other day - running 35 in front at 10 degrees.

LOL - Jeep stupid. Good one.
