Tire size and compatibility

My 3 week old Overland came with 18" X 7.5" wheels and 255/70R 18 all-season tires. A local Rubicon owner has 4 LT285/70R 17 tires and rims for sale at a very reasonable price. The wheels are factory and the tires are Falken Wildpeak A/T T3W. Will they fit my overland without modifying anything?

Thank for the quick reply. Would the speedometer be effected by the difference in size? Would the Jeep automatically read the TPMS as they are factory?

Yes, ever so sightly.

There is a break point in 2021, you can find details on this site, where trucks made before that date use one type of TPMS sensor and those made after, use another.

As long as both of your trucks are on the same side of that break date the TPMS sensors will be fine.
