I HAVE BEEN WATCHING WHERE EVERY NOW AND THEN SOMEONE PUTS IN A POST THAT THEY ORDERED A jt AND A COUPLE LUCKY SOULS ARE DRIVING THEIRS NOW. SO WHY NOT HAVE ONE POST TO CELEBRATE ALL THE JOY OF OVER A YEAR (OR MORE) TO SAY WAH HOO! Sorry for the YELLING.
I'll start it off. on 4-29-19 I ordered my 2020 JT,Billet Silver, auto , hard top and towing. I was told in a couple of months I should be driving it in the Francis Marion National Forest bringing out sad daddys from the woods. I'll check back when I drive mine away from the lot.
Welcome to the club. For a lot of us, it has been anywhere between 32-35 PSI. If I were you I would start with 35 PSI for the stock wheels and reduce as necessary for your comfort. And when you get home you can do the chalk test like a few others have and pick your exact PSI.Temporary Apologies - I’m a day or two early for the sign-in. I’m going to get my Billet Silver Sport S tomorrow morning or Thursday. I’ll have a 1500 mile drive home and I’d like to get a headstart on the ride/drive/wander using the corporate knowledge of the Forum.
What’s the best Tire Pressure to start with ? I’ve read here and there about the different dealer tire pressures found upon taking ownership ... so what’s the best recommended pressure to begin my journey home with ?
Max Tow with the accompanying All Terrain 245/75R17 tire option.
Thanks in advance for the advice. I’ll post again when I’m officially an owner in the drivers seat with the top down heading West !
Let's see what you have stored in that DECKED system!!Picked up my Gator Sport S March 19th. Already have new wheels and tires, front bumper and winch, LED headlights and DRL’s, soft tonneau and Decked drawer system. Still want to add rock rails, skid plate, brow light and off in the distance an overland rack and roof top tent.
No where to go off road around SW Ohio though, everything is closed ‍

just the recovery gear I have so far, and I need to get it sorted, my first box just came in the other day.Let's see what you have stored in that DECKED system!!
Great to hear that feedback! The HDPE blend that we use in our DECKED system is so damn durable that nothing will stick to it which means any plastic on top could slide around. Great to have that extra grip if needed. Let us know if you ever have any questions.FWIW I’m super impressed with the quality of the system, it’s way sturdier than I thought it would be and the drawers slide a lot smoother too. I did cut my bed mat from my old truck to fit on top so my t-tops don’t slide around back there because the plastic is so smooth.
