Anyone have any experience asking dealer to switch tops?
I've got a hard top and would love a soft or sunrider top. Curious if the dealership would even consider...

Thoughts?

I think it's a question of how quickly the dealership can get the soft top or replacement gladiator to swap tops with. I got the first gladiator the dealership got ahold of (I watched them pull it off the truck and bought it the next morning) since then they have only received 2 others in three months time. Cost wise the hard top is retail about $1000-1500 more than the soft top so a straight swap they would be on par to make more .money. I am still torn on buying a soft top as I like the convertible with less hassle but I don't like that the top hangs at the top of the roll bar as I would assume that thing would flap like crazy on the highway but I would still use the hardtop in the winter.

If you already have the gladiator they will probably play the "used" game but there may be someone on the forums who is looking for a swap.
