I need to buy (4) Oem TPMS sensors for my Gladiator(New WHeels!) and the dealership said they have them in stock but the part number they have is 68464665AA. All the mopar parts sites online say that number has been replaced by 68464665AB. Any reason I should not use the original/older part Number 68464665AA ? I got a price almost the same as online and I can pick up today verse 5-7 days or more at the online mopar part stores and I only want Mopar OEM.

I used the 68464665AA on mine with no issues. Bought them off of BAM Wholesale via Amazon for $154.39. That's with tax/shipping.

Great..... good to know! Thanks for the info dcjeep. Dealer gave me a good deal because I bought my jeep from them at $39.97 each so only a little more than online prices but I can pick them up today. FYI, tire install place said they had issues with some 2020 Jeeps not reading them when using non-OEM TPMS sensors.

Not bad! I didn't want to go the aftermarket for that particular reason, especially since a TPMS isn't something I can fix easily. The tire installer said I may have to calibrate or do a reset. I didn't have to do either of those things. Just got in it and drove, double checked with a tire pressure gauge to be sure. What wheel and tire combo did you go with by the way?

FYI I also wrote in to Mopar Factory Parts just after posting on this forum asking the same question about the TPMS sensors and to my surprise they just replied.....

Answer:
Hi George both part numbers A or B will work it does not matter which one you get.

My Tires and Wheels:
I went with XD820 Grenade Black Milled 18X8 +38MM Offset and Nitto Ridge Grapplers 275/65R18 116T XL (Not LT) . I have the Overland model with the ugly Highway tires and I wanted a nicer looking Wheel with a more aggressive looking Tire. I don't off road(Other than Gravel Roads to camps) so I wanted a Tire and wheel that was as close to stock dimensions/specs as possible. So the combo I picked is really close (+38MM verse stock +44MM) and the Nitto Tire is really close in diameter and weight.

For clarity the letters are incremental update numbers, AA would be the first iteration of a part and AB would be the second. I have no idea what their decrimation rules are for what causes it to change, obviously a change to the engineering but you know what I mean.
