I made a deal locally for a set of take off JL Rubicon Wrangler wheels with BF Goodrich KO2’s to put on our High Altitude Diesel. Figured they’d make great snow and off road tires. I’ll swap back to the 20” HA wheels for the summer. It‘s a set of five wheel/tires and TPMS sensors. Looks like from a little searching here that the TPMS sensors should just sink up after driving for a bit. I’m going to have a local tire shop balance them as they’ve got about 10k miles on them. I’ll have them mount them as well as it’s only $25. I’m thinking about asking the tire shop to also swap the spare over to the Rubicon wheel/tire. Good idea?

Couple questions. Will the Rubicon wheel and tire fit in the spare wheel location under the bed with no issues? Will there be any issue with it having a TPMS sensor as I believe the stock Gladiator spare does not? The tire size difference is minimal, only 1” and BFG’s tend to run small. I’m assuming my speedometer won’t be off by much.

Anyway, thanks much and I’ll post some pics on Saturday when they are mounted up.

As long as it is smaller than a 37 it will fit in the stock location, it also shouldn't be a big issue in terms of difference of tire size, as you likely wouldn't be running it for a long period of time as it is a spare. Your traction control system may not be happy though, my dad's AWD SUV lost a tire and when using the undersized donut every light was on in the dashboard.
