Is anyone here going to Trail Hero?

Wife and I are heading up. I just posted a similar thread in the event page. We always attend EJS each year and was looking to do some other “events” as well That are different time of year.

One of our favorite trail leads from EJS recommended it to us.

Going in blind on expectations, but looks to be a nice event in a great area.

Have to check to see what trails we signed up for.

Nice! Sand Hollow is a ton of fun. I actually prefer Sand Hollow over Moab. Everything is right there and it’s nice hanging out by the reservoir. You can’t beat the views in the Moab though!
Trail ratings at Sand Hollow are noticeably more challenging than Moab but there are also a lot of bypasses.

We can’t wait to compare. Have noticed that the videos of the trails that I have seen “seem” to be a bit more challenging. We are doing 6-8s in Moab. Will be nice to see how they actually compare. If you see us running around, be sure and give a wave or shout.

Id say they are 1.5 “points” harder. So an 8 in Moab is a 6.5 at Sand Hollow.
I might be canceling my trip, but if I go, I’ll keep an eye out for you!
