Hey guys, i just purchased the Trail Seven 6 speaker Kicker plug and play package today, hoping to get it sometime early next week. My question is has anybody installed it? And how does it sound? My Jeep Willys came with the 5" crappy head unit, im hoping the speakers will make a difference in quality and loudness. I do adventually plan on getting a new head unit, but for now this seemed like a viable solution for better sound and volume. Any thoughts?

You ask if it's any good after you buy it,,,lol. I hear it is. There are others out there. I'll probably jump in eventually.

I have the soundbar speakers upgraded, although I am running factory 8.4" w/ Alpine setup. It definitely sounds better than stock. More full sounding and better treble. Is it worth the price? I guess it depends on your budget / how picky of an audiophile you are. It's just nice how the soundbar has the new shroud that integrates the speakers vs piecing the setup yourself.

So I iinstalled the dash and soundbar speakers today, took about 45min to do them, and thats only because i had to find my stupid star bits. Super easy and they sound amazing even with the stock radio and no amp. Tomorrow ill be working on the 4" knee speakers which is a bit more complicated as the whole dash needs to be taken apart.

Somewhere is a video testing the 4" knee speakers and saying they're pretty fine as-is. Not worth changing unless there is a problem. If you go ahead with it then let us know if you find it was worthwhile.

Got the knee speakers in, install time was about 2 hrs and 15, and i had no clue what i was doing to take the dash apart and just followed Trail Sevens install video. There is definitely a noticeable difference, though not as much as there was from the dash and soundbar replacements. Way better than those garbage paper OEM speakers. Im def satisfied with the purchase for $430. Next purchase will be a 4 channel amp for the speakers and then an amp for some subs as the bass is a little lacking
