I forgot about this until now, NO!!!!!!!! It's bad enough how much I spend on the Jeep let alone getting another (smaller) Jeep for me to spend more on, lol

I am looking for more of a crawler so the Axial would be my choice.
For those of you that have been in the RC world what charger and batteries do you recommend?

I'm not affiliated with them, but this is where I ordered most of my stuff when I was into it heavy a few years ago. https://www.horizonhobby.com/produc...r-rock-crawler-with-portals-rtr/AXI03006.html

They will recommend chargers and cables and batteries. I also used a LIPO bag to protect in case a battery cough on fire while charging. I'm not familiar with what they call smart chargers, but I had to calculate what I was charging in addition to the battery type. I also could charge multiple batteries at once with different cables. In general the more power to a charger, the more batteries you can charge at once. From some of my planes I could charge 10 at a time. Cart batteries in general normally you are charging one or two at a time, but the higher output also you to get a full charge in 20-40 mins. It goes on and on.... I hope this is somewhat helpful and look forward to hearing from others.

Also, 3S and 2S, a 3S is much more power and in general will last longer than a 2S if you run them both the same. But I would use a 3S on a fast vehicle, since you are crawling, a 2S may be fine.

I run 3s in my crawlers. Much more power, wheel speed, torque, and runtime. Imagine the benefits of dropping a hemi in a real jeep that actually gets better fuel mileage. Its win win win except for the fact your break more stuff do to more power.

Wow that is a lot to process LOL! At one point my son and I had an E Revo. The car itself was amazing but there was always an issue with either the batteries or chargers.

I got mine a couple weeks ago, it’s awesome. I run 3S in mine, I like having the extra power and they will last a long time. I also 3D printed an overland trailer as well to match mine.

That is awesome!!! If you run a 3S you can also re-gear (sound familiar lol) to still run slower and have a ton or torque. It there really is a ton to process, if you want to get into the details. Overtime the batteries will run down, but when you use them, don't leave them with a charge for a long time (a month or so) run them all down to preserve the life. Most of the chargers have a run down feature (it may be called something else) or something to remove the charge from the battery.
