Thank you for all the replies and experiences so far. Still digging through them a bit and hope to have something this week or next possibly. :)

That Lowmax looks very nice and prices have come down. I have one from Amazon, paid about $379 in 2022 and they are down to $295 now. It sits above the bed which isn't as nice as the Lowmax. It doesn't leak (much, maybe a few drops in a car wash) and it's secure on the bed. Mine came with the brackets for use with the bed rails and the bed rails are nice, without them the hooks on the covers bend the plastic bedsides up.

I had one on my TRX and now one on my Gladiator. I won't use another brand. They sent me a replacement for my TRX no questions asked due to a manufacturing defect (scratches from the metal roller, although very faint but noticeable) and they let me change the color at that time from matte black to polyurethane because matte black is really more of a gray and I wanted black. Install is easy and they feel fairly secure at least compared to other bed covers I have had in the past. Nothing is 100% secure though. I never used their outlet but did purchase the first cover from a different company, American Trucks I believe, because they had the best price at the time and that did not change anything when it came to replacement.

I am also looking at covers. Another option that looks interesting is the Worksport AL 3. Nice finish and looks like easy operation.

I want a hard folding or rolling tonneau as well. I am in the "paralysis by analysis" mode, but need to get one fairly soon. I want something secure and locking which can hold some weight. I saw a Bakflip in person on a Toyota that looked nice, but the price is a bit eye watering. I would like to go with something less expensive.

I'm in the market for a hard cover. I have a few questions. I am only storing soccer equipment and maybe a fridge so I'm not concerned with crime since I will carry cheap stuff and I live in a low crime area. So with the hard covers do they take away any depth of the bed? My fridge is almost exactly the same height as the sides. I can always get smaller one, but would like to avoid that if possible. I put a request for a quote from Line-X because I would like that material on the outside if possible. Otherwise the Gator looks to be a decent price.

Most of the tri fold covers will reduce the bed length by 1 panel (About 18") as the 2 panels fold up on top of the front one like so:

RC makes one that you can raise completely but it does block the view out the back window:

Thats about all I would like to spend. Don't care about blocking the view out the back. Just need something that can safely store my equipment. Also can't make any noise.

A tonneau cover that mounts to the inside of the truck bed may sit slightly into the bed. If the fridge is the same height as your bed rails, a top mounted tonneau cover, like the UnderCover Triad Hard Folding Tonneau Cover, may be the better route so that you still have space for it.
