Tri- fold Tonneau

Does anyone have a tri-fold tonneau cover that lines up perfectly on the beds corners by the tailgate? I bought one and the corners extend over the beds corners. I don’t like it but was wondering if it was just how it is. I would appreciate any feedback.

That's pretty much how all of them sit from what I've seen.
