I like this idea! Running multiple wires through the firewall can be a real PITA for those of us without the factory aux switches.

It does make the install a bit easier.

After I complete the rest of my lighting, I am looking at this for my perimeter lighting around the bed area.

I really like it. Will it work for any 12 volt device or just for lights. Also, can the lights be Halogen or do they have to be LED. Thanks

The six shooter
  • Accepts 12-24 Volt input
  • Two 30, two 10, and two 5 amp fused circuits
And halogen lights that draw below 30 amp should be more than enough.

Any plans to support Apple CarPlay so you can control the switches from the UConnect screen?

That's a good idea. Currently, there are no plans for Trigger to integrate with the UConnect screen.

I've got the factory aux switches and haven't had to run a wire through the firewall. there's a factory harness under the hood that you connect your lights to.

On another note, I have been running a 6 shooter on my 99 XJ. Absolutely love being able to put the remote in my pocket with a little daylight left at the camp spot, I could be 100-150 feet away getting wood, and cant find your jeep but you know your close...... hit a rocker switch on the remote and BOOM! all your roof rack lights illuminate the valley. You really cant beat the convenience of having a remote control for your offroad lights. Absolutely will be installing another 6 shooter on my new JT.
