Good Evening,

I have a 2021 JTR and I am running 39” KM3’s for the last 6,000 miles. Truck only has 28,000 on the clock. So I am trying to diagnose something so I am looking for input. Tried search function but not phrasing it right I guess. Anywho….

Set up is;

Suspension was Clayton 3.5 Overland plus with OEM axles (4.10)

Decked system in bed (140ish lbs)
Smartcap

Issues….ZERO

A few weeks back I added Roofnest Condor 2 Overland (190ish lbs) on top of the Smartcap.

Issues…..Lumpy ride.

Last weekend I install Fusion Semi Float 60 rearend (5.13) and replace rear coils with Clayton 3.5 HD. So driving it the last few nights after dinner to break in the gears. Staying 45, not wailing on it.

Issues…..Lumpy ride

Feels exactly the same, seems to me that the only change that facilitated change in ride was the additional 190 lbs from the RTT.

Been running at 30-31 psi and i am wondering if all the extra weight is too much weight for those pressures.

Wondering if you all have a thought, the low tire pressure just occurred to me tonight

Yes, I would up the pressure by 5 lbs per tire and see what happens.

I have 3 questions;
1. Is the after dinner drive the only time you're taking it out each day?
2. How long is your after dinner drive and if not the only drive of the day, how long is your longest drive?
3. What's the ambient temperature where you live?

A lot of people don't realize that these large tires can flatten a bit(especially when aired down or sitting for any length of time), and depending on ambient air temperature, may take a couple miles to warm up and 'round out'. If you're doing an ' around the block trip at 40mph, you might not be warming them up enough to roll even.

1) I have a take home car for work so it typically only gets driven on the weekends.
2) This past week, the after dinner drives has been around 30 miles around town per drive just to do a break in for the gears
3) Its been around 75-80 degrees this week.

Never noticed it until the RTT was installed. At first I thought its brick like aerodynamics was giving me a “buffeting” effect. But new axle and new driveshaft didn't change the “lumpiness”.

I am however tracking on the flat spot theory. Ive done 100 miles on the new gears at a snails pace so Ill be hitting the highway soon enough so maybe that will alleviate it after a longer haul.

Just annoying
