Here are some annoyances with the Uconnect 4 with 7" Display sound system in my JT Sport-S.

I have a 256GB USB thumb drive that is NTFS formatted with my entire music collection on it. It contains ~80G, ~3,400 songs, ~275 albums. As far as I can tell, I am able to access *ANY* of the songs and/or albums that I have on the drive.

The following 2 items are somewhat annoying:

1) When I start the JT, the UConnect will re-start the previous song that I was playing when I last turned the truck off. It resumes at the exact place in the song that was playing when switched off. It continues playing for a few seconds, until my phone Bluetooth connects to the UConnect. When my phone connects, the same song STOPS playing and immediately STARTS playing at the BEGINNING of that song. The only way I've found to PREVENT the song from re-starting at the beginning is to turn Bluetooth *OFF* on my cell phone so that it does NOT connect to the UConnect system. My cell phone is Android, Samsung Galaxy S8, Model number SM-G950U. THIS IS ANNOYING!!!!!

2) I have a playlist, one that I *CAREFULLY* placed the songs in a *SPECIFIC* order. When I look at the playlist (in the M3U format) on my PC with a text editor, I can verify that, in fact, the songs appear in the playlist in the exact *ORDER* that I intended. However, when I load that playlist in the UConnect to *PLAY* the songs, the *ORDER* is *NOT THE SAME*. Why is that??? AGAIN, ANNOYING!!!!!

Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone have a fix / work around / firmware update for UConnect 4 with 7" Display?

I don't like that when you run Android Auto it has an orange outline around the "window". This is fine by day, but a bit annoying when driving at night, since it is bright and doesn't have a purpose (separating screen elements from each other - Android Auto takes over the full screen vs. Apple Car Play which keeps the bottom row buttons).

If someone knows how to deactivate this, I am all ears :)

I don’t like the Ram icon for backup cam. Give me a Gladiator!
