Under Seat Sub MBQuart

Hello all and thanks for allowing me to join. I'm struggling here. I bought the MBQuart Sub-1. The instructions video shows it plugging directly into the factory sub harness. Problem is, the factory sub harness is a weird 6-pin connector and the sub is a little 2 pin, left and right speaker only.

I watched the install video that MBQuart posted and it skips the step where they plug it into the car.

Anyone installed one of these?

Hi, and welcome! I just put in a similar sub (Sound Storm Labs POPRO8) in my Gladiator yesterday. It has a 6-pin connector, with 4 (+/-)speaker wires , plus a ground (middle pins are empty and ground). I had to splice into the wires on the B-Pillar of the passenger's side. That's where your 4 pin connector would go. I was a total noob at this, and now I have a really nice bass boost in my rig.
So:
1. Run the power from the amp through the driver's side trim
2. Rem wire should go along to fuse 52 (20 amp), which powers on along with the ignition and turns off (this turns your sub on and off)
3. ground can go either under the passenger's front seat or to the rear bench (rear bench bolt is hard to unscrew)
4. 4 pin connectors should go to the b-pillar on the passenger's side to connect to the stereo. This also lets the stereo control the bass amount (at least it did on mine.)

Thanks, but this one doesn't have an amp. It's designed to replace your factory sub without having to remove it.
